Today’s NY Times article announcing the discontinuation of Eli Lilly’s clinical trials of an experimental drug for reducing plaque in the brains of Altzheimers patients came as a great dissapointment to people looking for a cure for Altzheimers. See full NY Times article: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/18/business/18lilly.html?ref=health

Not only did this drug fail to help the Alzheimers patients it was tried on, but compared to the control group [who were given a placebo] the experimental patients did worse.

What the NY Times article failed to mention was that there is still hope for Alzheimers’ patients.

Small groups of researchers are out there actually making headway. But their good news seems to never reach the major news media’s headlines. Here a few of the many videos and links to a group making what appears to be significant headway in the right direction with Alzheimers. Whether or not they are the full answer remains to be seen, but one thing I know is if it were me, I’d go to one of the obviously more successful researchers, below, for help.

Some Major Headway With Natural Coconut Oil

In my last blog post about Alzheimers you can read all about the studies done by Dr. Mary Newport using natural pure virgin coconut oil to reverse the symptoms of Alzheimers. This blog also points how Fluoride links to Alzheimers’ Disease and how water ionizers can help with that: http://alkalinewaterplus.info/blog/2009/12/17/alzheimers-prevention-take-action-while-you-still-can/

Real Hope …with Perispinal Etanercept

Perispinal Etanercept is a treatment which has been used experimentally now since 2007. It is some kind of imunosuppressant drug administered to the base of the brain which inhibits the inflamation associated with Alzheimer’s Disease. The results look amazing and instant. I’m including a few of their clinical trial videos here for you to see with your own eyes. I hope more will come to light soon about this obviously successful and hopeful treatment, especially now since Eli Lilly has apparantly failed so miserably.

The full information about the group running the trials, shown in the videos below, is:

Many people have been noticing that the Athena and Delphi water ionizers are not on my regular website and are wondering why.

Jupiter Athena Water IonizerJupiter Delphi Water Ionizer

What happened is the IonWays company has decided not to allow their MLM [multi-level-marketing] water ionizers to be advertised on any websites that sell other water ionizers. More or less they’re from now on only going to be displayed on exclusive IonWays websites such as this one [which is one of my websites]: https://www.ionways.com/default.aspx?UserName=clograsso

Basically, I can understand what happened. It was probably hard on the members of the MLM company [IonWays] to compete with online stores. While on the one hand this is “free enterprise”, on the other I suppose it could be unfair to some members. With an MLM the company has to [or should] look out for their members. The commissions for IonWays water ionizers are not unfair or exhorbitant at all. They’re simply a way of paying the members for the work they’ve done in promoting their product. If people started having price wars with what little commission IonWays gives, it would signal the end of the MLM, period. So the measures IonWays has taken to protect their members is understandable.

Why are the Athena and Delphi so special as to single them out for an MLM? Well, they’re Jupiter’s top-of-the-line models; Jupiter is a top-of-the-line water ionizer company; & their prices are outstandingly low…so they are very popular water ionizers. Anyone can buy these water ionizers, but they must be purchased from an IonWays member or website.

Enagic, another MLM water ionizer company, has had their troubles with unfairness problems on the internet, but I don’t think the Enagic company looks to be as responsive to their members as the IonWays company is. For months, on any given day I could [and still can] go to Ebay click on “completed listings” for water ionizers and see one or more sales for the expensive SD501 for about the $2000. range. That has got to really be upsetting. I wonder why the Enagic company hasn’t stomped down hard on these Ebay sellers. They should if they want to keep their MLM alive and well.

So, in case you were wondering, how to find the Athena and Delphi water ionizers, go to my IonWays website. These two outstanding water ionizers are alive as ever and doing very well…they’re just out of the mainstream internet and on a little more controlled path.

Kangen Scam on Ebay:

Enagic LeveLuk SD501 water ionizer

Sold! $2001.00 [New!]

Scammers are Making the Enagic SD 501 Water Ionizer Harder for MLMers to Sell!

I knew there was a reason I didn’t like MLM [multi-level-marketing] and this is one reason why:

People pay a lot for the Enagic SD 501, and many of those people are trusting that they can at least recoup some of their money by selling their friends and associates a water ionizer, thus helping their friends and at the same time getting a commission on the sale. The way Enagic works is that you are at different levels, according to how many water ionizers you have sold.

  • 1A: If you’ve personally sold 1 or 2, you make $285. for each sale, plus you get about that much from each of your down-line to the 8th level deep.
  • 2A: If you’ve personally sold 3 or more, you make $570. for each sale, plus you get $285 – $570 from each of your down-line to the 8th level deep.
  • 3A: If you’ve personally sold 11 or more, you make $855. for each sale, plus you get $285 -$855 from each of your down-line to the 8th level deep.
  • 4A: If you’ve personally sold 21 or more, you make $1140. for each sale, plus you get $285 -$1140 from each of your down-line to the 8th level deep..
  • 5A: If you’ve personally sold 51 or more, you make $1425. for each sale, plus you get $285 -$1425 from each of your down-line to the 8th level deep..
  • 6A: If you’ve personally sold 101 or more, you make $1710. for each sale, plus you get $285 -$1710 from each of your down-line to the 8th level deep..

Some way the Ebay scammers are getting ahold of these Enagic machines at a price that is under $2000. They then sell Enagic Kangen water Ionizers on Ebay at a greatly reduced rate. People who don’t care to join the MLK will be happy to pay this slashed price. Perhaps what they’re doing is buying the water ionizers at their discounted rate and passing the savings onto the customer. But however it’s being done, it’s got to really hurt the little guys who are just trying to make a few dollars for giving their water away. This scam is greatly undercutting all of the Enagic dealers, and I wonder why Enagic, themselves, doesn’t put a stop to it.

At the time of this writing there are a few people doing this. Here’s a link to a real-time listing where this seller is offering the Enagic Leveluk SD 501 Kangen Water Ionizer for $3099.99. http://shop.ebay.com/akawaid/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=50 He’s clearly giving the buyer about a $900.00 discount. If he is at level 6A, above, then he is still making $800.00 on the sale! If at the time you read this post, this link doesn’t work, I’m sure you can find some other scammer doing the same thing.

Why do I say he’s a scammer? The reason is, he’s seeking to take unfair advantage of the thousands of people who follow the MLM rules. The success of any MLM depends on a unique product, that people need, that people will want to tell their friends about, and that has company rules, commissions and prices which are fair and followed. What he’s doing is violating the rules of his MLM agreement, but he’s not revealing his distributor name or ID on Ebay, so he’s getting away with it.

Many people just want to get a good water ionizer, and they’ve heard this is a good one. Since a good water ionizer will probably last 20 – 30 years the person might not particularly worried that this guy’s water ionizer isn’t coming with a warranty. They’ve heard that if something goes wrong with their water ionizer, then it’s usually no more expensive to fix than having a repairman for any other house-hold appliance [often cheaper], so they’re really not worried. But they’re trying to save money, and they don’t want to buy-into the MLM of Enagic. This all leads the person to want to buy from this guy on Ebay. Not everyone will do this, but plenty of people will. Money does talk.

Can the Enagic Sales Scam be Eliminated?

I doubt that the undercutting of authorized sales prices set by the Enagic Company will be stopped. It’s very hard to catch everyone who violates the rules on the internet. If you caught one guy, another 3 might pop up and take his place. That’s probably one reason why Enagic stays away from internet sales. However, I do believe that the company, Enagic, has a duty and responsibility to do everything they can to find these scammers on Ebay or other selling sites, who are trying to take unfair advantage of honest people who are following the MLM guidelines set.

In the meantime, if you’re reading this and wondering if you should buy from that guy on Ebay for a $900.00 discount…No. You souldn’t. The Enagic Kangen water ionizer gets half of its value from the MLM aspect. Without the potential of earning some or all of your money back, the $3,000. discounted price just simply isn’t a good deal. The Enagic LeveLuk SD501 is a good water ionizer, but it under-performs in comparison to the KYK, Melody, Tyent and the Athena. Plus, without the warranty, you have no way of being assured at all.

Bottled Water vs. Ionized Water | There is no Comparison!

In this article, I’ll explain why ionized water is a far better choice than bottled water.

Let’s start with ORP.

ORP stands for oxidation reduction potential: which is another way of saying anti-oxidant potential. Here is a chart that shows the ORP of  58 different kinds [brands or sources] of water. Of all the bottled waters the range of ORP is about +350 to +600 on the average. That means you are getting one heck of a lot of free radicals through your water.  Note: tap and well water sources are also in this high range of ORP.  If you look on the chart, at the “Jupiter Science Water” row, you’ll see that the ORP of ionized water using a water ionizer from Jupiter Science is up to -850 [and this will vary according to the source water used]. That’s an incredible difference! With a negative ORP of even -300 it is considered a medical grade of ORP. With this kind of negative ORP you can really antioxidize and get rid of the free radicals in your body!

Now let’s take a look at pH.

PH stands for potential Hydrogen. It is another way of saying how acidic or alkaline a substance is. Our bodies need a slightly alkaline pH [7.365 pH] for health, however this is very challenging for our bodies to do with our modern diets. Without the proper buffers for the alkalinity our bodies need, our bodies have no choice but to rob our joints and bones of calcium to buffer the poisonous acid wastes produced by our cells.

If you look at the pH of the bottled water in the above chart, you’ll see that there’s a wide range of pH in these waters. The lesser expensive water, such as Aquafina, is acidic [5.96 pH], and while some of the spring waters are alkaline, watch out! Because many of the spring waters are gotten from valley springs [which tend to be acidic]. If you need to drink bottled water, look at the lable and try to get the mountain spring water. Make sure the word “mountain” is in the description [otherwise surely it is NOT mountain spring water]. To really provide enough buffers for most modern day diets, I think people should drink water at a pH higher than 9 if possible. The only water on the chart that has a pH higher than 9 is the Jupiter water ionizer’s ionized water. And, that can get up to 11 pH!

Sometimes, it’s true, you do need to drink bottled water.

So here’s what I would do if I were going out of the country, and didn’t trust the water [or otherwise HAD to drink bottled water: I'd bring my Waterman Portable Water Ionizer [little 1-cup water ionizer that doesn't use electricity] and pour mountain spring water into it. I think that would be the best and safest water for traveling into places where I didn’t trust the water. The Waterman Pitcher is so inexpensive and lasts for 800L [you can also refill the cartridge for another 800L for even cheaper], so I think this would be something that anyone could do!

Finally, last but not least, the amount of waste produced by all those bottles isn’t good for the environment.

Even if you recycle, there is a lot of energy waste and pollution caused by so much plastic. The statistics are: a lot of those bottles do not get recycled. Food for some green thought.

Why Did I Decide to Sell Water Ionizers?

Jun 07 · by Cathleen LoGrasso

I have an online store, and I sell water ionizers. People often ask me why I decided to sell water ionizers. I’d like to share that, and maybe inspire someone else to join the cause!

I have been drinking alkaline ionized water for 16 years and I have found it to be the best nutritional-related thing I’ve ever done! Actually, nothing in the past 36 years of research and investigation into nutrition and natural healing has come close to this in simplicity and truth…in what your body needs to be healthy [in a basic nutritional sense]. When you find something that really works, it tends to simplify your life.

The massive amounts of nutritional supliments, routines, secrets, programs, etc. all take on a new perspective when you get your body’s basic needs fulfilled. You find you’re not in need of as much “suplimentation” after all.

The reason ionized water helps you nutritionally has to do with the acid/alkaline pH balance in your blood, tissues & cells. When you’re acidic (which almost everyone is in the US) your cells can’t get rid of their acid wastes & so these build up in the cells, organs & tissues. The older you are the more acidic you become. Ionized water helps re-establish the pH balance you had as a child. Actually even better.

Germs, cancers, funguses & viruses need acidity to thrive. Only the healthy cells thrive in the correct pH environment.

Alkaline ionized water is the easiest, most natural way to restore the pH your body needs for health. First of all, you need to drink water, and lots of it, daily. However, you don’t need chlorine, fluoride or any of the other chemicals that are added to your water by your city water company. So a water ionizer filters & eliminates the bad stuff from your water. But beyond that it keeps the alkaline minerals (such as calcium & magnesium) in the water coming out of the top spout (your drinking water) and gets rid of the acidic, poisonous elements (such as fluoride, chlorine, etc.) out of the bottom spout.

Ionization also puts a negative charge on the water, making it a free-radical scavenger. No substances are added to the water, and so there are no side-effects, although your body may experience detox symptoms as your cells begin to release their acids they’ve held onto all these years. But that happens slowly, and usually detox symptoms are very mild if any.

For newbies, I highly suggest my e-book [ http://www.health-e-water.com ] which further explains this and the multitudes of other great ways a water ionizer helps your water to do the job of reversing the acidity your body has accumulated in your cells, tissues and organs over the years.

Bottom line…I really want to share this great information with others!

Most people in the US are not clued in to this data. A year ago I decided to sell water ionizers and bring this information to a many people as I can. I have developed a main webstore [ http://www.alkalinewaterplus.com ] & blog [ http://www.alkalinewaterplus.info ] & an affiliate program. My affiliates earn a good commission by bringing this information to their contacts. What a great way to earn! Everyone wins!
