Is Negative Ion Clothing Any Good?

Absolutely!

I have grown very fond of my Nefful Gloves over the past several months!

Now, I’m so spoiled, that I don’t even want to get on the computer without my Nefful Gloves. I must be sensitive to the electronics in the keyboard and mouse, because the electronics in them really have been bothersome to me. I didn’t have this problem long ago when I only used a computer once in a while. But now I use the computer over 8 or even sometimes 10 hours per day, and I suppose with that amount of use my body [my right "mouse" hand in particular] is very bothered by the continuous bombardment of positive ions.

When I heard about negative ion clothing, I immediately thought about how helpful a Nefful glove might be in protecting my hand from the ions emanating from the computer mouse, so I bought my first pair. That style of Nefful glove was the kind without the fingers [which I thought would be easier to type with], and though I liked them a lot I like the kind I have now a lot better!

I wasn’t sure if wearing a Nefful glove on my right hand would slow down my typing or not. I’m very glad to say that it hasn’t.

Does Nefful Clothing Have a Negative ORP Just Like Ionized Water?

Yep! I had heard that Nefful clothing had a negative ORP, and I had seen it tested last summer when I bought my first pair of Nefful gloves. I thought you had to have a special ORP meter designed for air, and I didn’t realize that my ORP meter, designed for use with water, would be able to show changes in the ORP of the clothing or the air around the clothing. The other day, when I was getting ready to do some research for this post, I got the idea to test the ORP of the Nefful glove to see if my meter would show anything of interest. Sure enough, the Nefful glove gets greater than a -1000 ORP! I was pretty surprised! I don’t even know what I expected…but not that. My computer screen got greater than +1000 ORP. Wow! What a difference. You’re actually not supposed to test back and forth [negative/positive] like that with these meters, because the greater the fluctuations cause an electronic upset in the meter. You can see in this next video how much variation was in the ORP on or around the Nefful glove verses my cotton shirt. I couldn’t do too much of this kind of testing, though, because I’d ruin my ORP meter if I did. Here’s the video:

You may wonder what a report on Alzheimer’s is doing in a water ionizer blog.

Several months ago I did some research for a water-ionizer-blog article I was writing on Fluoride. Fluoride is an acidic element which is eliminated to a great extent [into the acid water stream -- bottom hose of your water ionizer ] when your water is ionized….THANK GOODNESS! 

What I discovered in my Fluoride research had a great impact on me:

Fluoride is linked to Alzheimer’s, learning disabilities and many other diseases.

It’s actually a poison [similar in its effects to lead poisoning]. This discovery hit-home with me, because my Mother had just died of Alzheimer’s and that was an awful disease. It’s the kind of disease where you really actually lose your loved one long before their body dies. In other words, she was so filled with dimentia, she was not herself for years, before she actually died. She actually didn’t remember anything meaningful for life: her family, her past, or even who she was, and this wonderfully strong, smart, and independent woman became a complete dependent until she finally couldn’t even breathe for herself anymore.

In my research I discovered [as many before me had] that the toxic wastes of aluminum manufacturing have been [at the tax-payer's expense] dumped into our water supplies for the past 40+ years! Actually I knew Fluoride was added to the water, but like almost everyone else in the country, I trusted that this additive was safe for us [and needed] or it wouldn’t be added. In my research I discovered vast amounts of reports implicating the ingestion of Fluoride as being linked to many diseases [including Alzheimer's and learning disabilities] and very unsafe, and I also discovered that virtually nothing was being done to stop it.

Back in the day when adding Fluoride was a new idea, the authorities [the people studying Fluoride safety] were the very same scientists who said the atom bomb testing was safe. These were the leading authorities of the day…but were later discredited and found to be biased [in fact they needed to say Fluoride was safe or they would be exposed for the great damages they'd authorized]. What we did [as a country] was: 1. Take the word of people with an agenda [that Fluoride was safe] 2. We set up a system of dumping Fluoride into drinking water, and 3. We never put in the proper checks and balances to ensure this was a good decision, 4. We never re-evaluated to make sure that the actual proper studies were done [by independent non-biased researchers] as to the safety of this Fluoride dumping, 5. We didn’t even re-evaluate when it was discovered that the original “authorities” had an agenda to make Fluoride look good, and 6. We didn’t really research Fluoride well enough to find out that the only real benefit of Fluoride was when it was applied topically, and that ingesting it was poisonous! 

Please read my article on Fluoride if you haven’t already done so. We need people to put the pressure on the EPA, other government agencies and their federal, state and local representatives to take action in stopping the dumping of Fluoride into our municipal water. The scientists who gave the stamp of approval to adding fluoride to municipal water all over the country were later discredited as being corrupt. There are no really validated reasons anymore for dumping this poison into our water! At the time when my mother got Alzheimer’s, I didn’t know there was something I could have done, right then, to help her. Since then, I’ve discovered a few things which can be done, and I will share these with you [below]. As I discover more things I’ll add them to my blog. 

What can you do to help reduce your risk of Alzheimer’s?

1. Use a fluoride prefilter or reverse-osmosis-remineralizer to take out all the harmful junk in your water and then add back in all organic, healthy minerals.
2. Use a water ionizer [of course] to get rid of the acidic elements that may remain after prefiltration and alkalize your body.
3. Here’s really the meat of this blog-post: A customer sent me this link [knowing I was interested in Alzheimers]. When I read it I was amazed! I did some further research and found a six-part video series with the doctor who wrote the article. So, naturally I included the video series in this blog-post [see below]. It’s a must-see video series. Even if you don’t know someone with Alzheimer’s now, chances are you will. With the growing prevalence of this disease, there are predicted to be over 50 million people with Alzheimer’s by 2050 [unless, of course, we do some smart things to prevent it. I wish I had this 5 years ago, and so I'm passing it on to you! It has nothing to do with water ionizers, but I just feel compelled to share it. It's an article from a doctor whose husband at 58 years old got Alzheimer's. She tried all the conventional treatments for Alzheimer's, and none stopped the rapid onset of dimentia for her husband. His disease came on suddenly, and progressed quickly. Due to effort, luck and her superior ability to put two and two together, Dr. Mary Newport has actually found something that is working to reverse part of the damage done by Alzheimers. But it's not a drug: it's all natural. Brief Summary of Alzheimer’s Article: Dr. Mary Newport live in Fllorida [interestingly near an aluminum manufacturer]. Dr Newport’s husband at the time of the article [July, 2008] was 58 years old and had Alzheimer’s. He started showing signs of it years earlier, and they were very dilligent in getting him all the best treatment. Despite the exceptional care and treatment, his condition worsened very quickly. Dr. Newport continued to study medical journals in hope that she’d find something that helped her husband. Finally, through chance, luck, and probably because she was really looking, she read about a study using a nutritional substance, Ketasyn, which is another name for MCT oil, which was making some impressive improvements in about half the patients. She wanted her husband in that study, but he didn’t qualify [as he was too far gone]. However, with further digging she found that this oil can be found in health-food stores in the form of natural, extra-virgin, organic coconut oil.  Because she understood this research article and was able to find the oil, she attempted on her own to help her husband. Almost instantly her husband’s mental abilities improved drastically. At the time of the article, he wasn’t fully recovered, but the fact of improvement was clearly significant. Nothing was stopping the rapid decline before that. The point of Dr. Newport’s article was to help raise awareness for all people. I’m re-posting this because my wrist, which broke a year ago, is feeling better after wearing my new Negative Ion gloves…I wanted to alert and update people to this interesting new healing fabric: Negative Ion Fabric [or otherwise known as Nefful]! After a year of stiffness and some numbness in the area of a break to my wrist, I am happy to feel some more pliability come back to this area. My ultimate goal is a full return of sensation and flexibility to the area, and an elimination of all stiffness. It’s only been 3 weeks, so this is good progress. I’ll continue to keep you posted as time goes on.

The Value of Negative ORP, Water Ionizers & Nefful Clothing to Your Health

I’m trying a new product, which has a high potential for me to sell on my website [in my Other Products section], because it’s related to ionized water. It’s called Nefful Clothing. So, what’s the relationship between a water ionizer and Nefful clothing? Both provide your body with negative ions, which are healthy for your body.

Here’s how I’m using the Nefful clothing myself. I broke by wrist a year ago, and it is still kind of stiff and a little numb in the area. I bought some Nefful wrist-band/gloves and in wearing these I’m hoping to provide more negative ions to the area of my wrist and thus help it to loosen up and feel better. So far I can say my wrist feels better when I’m wearing these. I’ve only been wearing these Nefful gloves for a few days, so it’s probably too soon to evaluate. The numbness and stiffness are still there, but seem reduced.

I also do a lot of work on the computer and my fingers and hands do not like the effect of the positive ions bombarding them. From what I can see, it looks like the Nefful clothing is a nice addition to a health-conscious line-up of preventative health measures. It is expensive though. If money is no issue, I’d of course suggest both. Try the Nefful. I’m trying it. It feels good to wear.

Today I tested and used the Rainshow’r Bathball!

This is a water [bath] dechlorinator that works by changing the chlorine in your tap water to harmless chloride. Similar to sodium chloride, table salt, any chloride will be more neutral and harmless than chlorine. The manufacturer also claims that the quartz crystals in the Bath Ball splits the water into smaller clusters, and thus makes your use of soap or shampoo more efficient. It is claimed to be safe, healthy for your skin and body [eliminates chlorine gas which in hot baths you may breathe in], and works in minutes. Here’s the video:

When I tested the chlorine level of the bath ball water vs. regular tap water, this showed on the chart as the same. This is because with the Rainshow’r Bath Ball the chlorine isn’t actually removed. There is no filter here — it’s not a bath filter – just a chemical change from chlorine to chloride, so the tester won’t show a difference.

When I bathed in the Rainshow’r Bath Ball water I did like it. I like baths anyway, though, so I’m not sure as of yet if I can attest to a difference. I like it though, so I’ll continue to use the Bath Ball Bath Dechlorinator. It is supposed to last for 300 baths or a year! After that you can just get a replacement pouch rather than a whole new ball.

Yesterday I blogged about the 1-Minute-Cure and Today I’m Videoing about it!

The One Minute Cure is basically a book. And, the principles in the book seem like they make sense. However, when I tried the program [which is very inexpensive] I had bad results. Some spider veins that had disappeared due to drinking Alkaline ionized water from my Melody water ionizer…………returned! But not just a little [they returned about triple the amount! So I wondered...

Should I continue this One Minute Cure?

I also didn't have an internal feeling of wellness. So, I decided: NO. I stopped the program. But, a week later when all my spider veins had disappeared again [from drinking my melody ionized water] and I felt better…

I tried the One-Minute-Cure program again.

[Just to be sure] However, the same thing [exactly] happened again.

I suspected that the ORP was being reversed by adding these drops to water. In other words, instead of turning the water into an antioxidant to neutralize free radicals [which a water ionizer does] it makes the water a lot more oxidizing. 

I of course, decided to test this theory, and here is the video. In the video I’m testing the ORP of filtered water, ionized water, and tap water before and after adding 25 drops of the formula suggested in the one minute cure program.

As you can see in the video, in every instance the ORP made a drastic change in the WRONG direction! And, that’s why I say…

The One-Minute-Cure [Advertised for Cancer and Other Diseases]is Basically Not a Good Idea for the Average Person in My Opinion!

I saw information about the One-Minute-Cure online and decided to try it. I thought it looked theoretically good, and I thought perhaps this was something I might sell on my website. However I wanted to test it myself to make sure it was a good and safe thing. So I tried it.

Because people have been asking me my opinion about the 1-Minute-Cure, I’ve decided to do this Blog about it. My answer at this point [unless further testing changes my mind] is

“I think the One Minute Cure Might Be Unsafe”.

When I tried it some spider veins in my leg [which had almost completely disappeared from using the Melody water ionizer] started to come back when I got up to the level of 9 drops. I might have been detoxing, but I don’t think so. Also, some other things occurred, like heart throbbings and a general feeling of non-wellness.

I stopped for a week…felt fine…then tried it again. When I got up to 11 drops the same thing happened.

The One Minute Cure Gave Me a very sickening feeling like everything was falling apart inside!

So I thought to myself, “Why is this happening?” The 1 Minute Cure, as a theoretical premise & book, seemed logical in the way it was written, however in looking it over, it does seem to be the exact opposite to getting a negative ORP [antioxidizing] the water. It is not an antioxidant in the water, instead it is oxidizing it. So, it was basically undoing the ORP in the ionized water I was drinking from my Melody Water Ionizer. Very similar to the Nikken water machine.

Why Would I do that?

When With a Water Ionizer I’ve been so healthy over the past 16 years,

Why would I do the 1-Minute-Cure anyway? So I stopped.

I guess I’ll never know what the 25-drop level feels like.  Or, you never know, I might try it again someday just to be sure, but not today.

When I get some time, I think I’ll do a video testing the water for ORP after the drops have been put in. I’ll bet we see a drop in ORP.

I might try it in the bath! Just like acidic water, I bet this stuff would be great for baths! Now that seems like the best thing to do with the rest of the huge bottle I bought.

My suggestion: Don’t do the One Minute Cure!

Portable vs Regular Alkaline Water Ionizers: How do the Melody and Waterman Compare?

In my last blog I showed you the videos comparing the Waterman Portable Water Ionizer and the Melody Water Ionizer for pH and ORP. Pretty impressive, huh?

I promised I’d show you the comparison chart, and calculate the rH for both, so here it is:

 The big news here is that the Waterman tiny little portable water-ionizer pitcher did so well in these tests! I’ve tested the Melody water ionizer so many times, I knew that would be great, but the little Waterman? Wow! That’s great news, because you can buy the Waterman for under $60.00. And the cartridges last for 800 liters! Also, replacement cartridges are only around $20.00 each! Nice!

A potential customer asked me, the other day, to evaluate the Nikken water system. She said it was a water ionizer. I proceeded to try to research it, but the data available to me seems very vague and from what I can gather it does the opposite of a water ionizer. I’m not sure about the stones and magnets involved, perhaps this has some water ionization effect, but the water gets whirled around so fast that I’m sure it’s adding lots of oxygen to the water. This looks like a bad idea to me. We breathe oxygen, and it is because of oxydation in our bodies by free radicals that we need antioxidants. With ionized water, what we’re trying to do is better hydrogenate our bodies…they’re already oxygenated enough! Ionized water provides us with an unlimited supply of low (negative) ORP water, which is fantastic for scavenging up all our free radicals. I just can’t think of why anyone would want to stir in all that oxygen into the water! My theory was that if you stir or whip oxygen into ionized water it will raise the ORP, rather than lower it (which is what we want to do to make it healthier for free radical scavenging). So I conducted this test where I test the pH and ORP of ionized water from my Melody Water Ionizer at level 3, then I blend the water with a portable high-speed mixer (simulating the water whirring around in a Nikken water system. Finally, I tested the water after blending to see if the pH and ORP changed, and I recorded my results on the chart below. Here’s the video.
