What is the Best Water Ionizer News from 2009?

The Improved Water Ionizer Warranties!

As we get ready to end our year 2009 it’s time to celebrate some of the highlights. Looking back over the year, I think the best change for the water ionizer industry ever is the introduction of “Lifetime Warranties”. What that does is give you, the consumer, the confidence to know that if your water ionizer breaks down prematurely, due to some design flaw or something beyond your control, you are protected! That’s great security!

Here’s a breakdown of the water ionizer companies and their warranty improvements [or not] for the year 2009:

Jupiter Water Ionizers:

Started the year 2009 with 5-year warranties, but now have Lifetime Warrantees!

The Jupiter Company water ionizers: Athena Water Ionizer, The Delphi, The Melody Water Ionizer, The Orion Water Ionizers, and the Venus Water Ionizer … all now come with Lifetime Warrantees! These are sold by Ion Life [the Melody and Orion] and Ion Ways [the Athena and Delphi], two related companies. Here are the links to the exact warranty cards so you can see for yourselves!

http://alkalinewaterplus.info/blog/uploaded/WarrantyCardIonLife-aug09.pdf

Chanson Water Ionizers:

Started 2009 with 5-year warranties and now are covered by Lifetime Warranties. Here’s the link for that:

http://www.chansonalkalinewater.com/chanson_ionizer_warranty

Life Water ionizers

Life water ionizers started 2009 with 5-year warranties with an optional 10-year upgrade [and 20-year warranty on their plates], and are now also giving Lifetime Warranties [but only if you follow their reasonable guidelines for water ionizer care]

http://www.alkalinewaterplus.com/life-water-ionizers

Tyent water ionizers

Tyent water ionizers started off with 5-year warranties. Tyent’s plates are now warrantied for 20 years, and Tyent gives the customer an option to purchase extended 10-year warranties.

KYK water ionizers

KYK water ionizer warranties haven’t changed, and KYK water ionizers are still covered by 5-Year Warrantees [but their prices have come down].

Enagic Water Ionizers

Enagic warranties haven’t changed, and Enagic [Kangen Water] water ionizers are still covered by 5-year warranties.

In this day and age when all of the water ionizer companies are competing with each other for your business, the consumers benefit. And these new warranties are an example of that.

This is a fictitious letter, listing everything we’d love to see in a perfect water ionizer. We’d love it if a water ionizer would live up to all of our expectations! We do have some water ionizers which come very close though. Read on to see which and why.

Dear Water Ionizer Manufacturer:

I am interested in becoming an exclusive USA distributor for a perfect water ionizer. When I say perfect, I mean perfect in every way. Here are my specifications:

A Wish-List for a Perfect Water Ionizer:

We, we will be very meticulous in choosing the right water ionizer to represent. We insist that this water ionizer has the following:

  • is manufactured with UL, ISO and CE standards and we will want proof that your water ionizers are built to the standards we have agreed upon [which the ISO, CE and UL certificates will help to do]. We will visit the factory regularly to make sure the standards are met perfectly.
  • the electrodes are platinum coated titanium plates in which the plates are coated AFTER all cutting is done and the coating is applied and baked to the standards of a sufficient thickness to last a lifetime.
  • the filters must be able to filter out fluoride, chlorine, chloramine, arsenic, lead, and all other common contaminants and be certified as safe filters. We will want certified independent laboratory proof that the filters do this — we will not just take your word for it. We will want to offer a lifetime warranty on these water ionizers and will want assurances that the water ionizer we choose will perform well for this time period. I
  • the water ionizer we choose will have to test well [with a comparible or better pH and ORP to the other water ionizers we sell]. So whether the design has mesh or solid plates or whatever the number and size of plates it has — we insist it tests the best.
  • we insist on is that the water ionizer we choose has an automatic self-cleaning of the electrode plates without stopping the water-flow production [in other words a system similar to the Jupiter models' DARC system].
  • the water ionizer we choose will have to look nice in the kitchen and be a reasonable size [similar to the other water ionizers we sell].
  • this water ionizer will have to have the capability to regulate water flow and turn water on/off via a dial or knob on the water ionizer itself, so that it can be hooked up to the main water line.
  • we’d like to be able to produce 30 gallons [@9.5 pH with a -400 or better ORP] per day of ionized water with this water ionizer
  • it must come with stainless steel diverters that can hook up to a faucet [and have adapters so that the most common faucets are easily adapted to fit the provided adapters. In addition it must have included a fitting that will allow the direct water-pipe connection giving the customer all he/she needs to choose either option for water supply connection.
  • it must come with 1/4 inch food-grade water input hose at least 4' in length to accommodate the easy installation for the customer and we prefer a 1/2 inch grey rubber acid water drain hose, because it rests better on the sink.
  • we would like a suction-cup attachment to the bottom of the acid water hose which keeps the acid water hose out of the way of the dishwater in the sink.
  • this water ionizer must be easy to use and come with an easy to read manual and installation DVD, so there are no questions or confusions about how to set up and operate the water ionizer.
  • the warranty card and other contact information also must be to our specifications and included in the kit.
  • this perfect water ionizer needs to be packed in a box that has Styrofoam fitted to the form of the water ionizer and all of its parts, so as to ensure it will withstand the potentially rough handling of shipping. Also, it should include a pH testing kit.
  • the water ionizer should also include pH & ORP meters which show the actual pH and ORP of the water output. In addition whatever instructions to keep the meters clean and stored properly should be included too. [This option can come separately at an extra price for those who want it]
  • we’d like a calcium insert basket, like the Jupiter water ionizers have, as part of the design of the water ionizer, because some customers living in soft-water areas have been able to use this instead of having to put a remineralizer & housing in their water ionizer input line.
  • we’d like a saline port, like the Enagic has, so customers who want the strongest acid are able to get it.

We will want to sell these at a reasonable price. We want to try to keep the price down around $1500. We want the best though, so we’ll need an engineer working on this who has ingenious capabilities and who has a mind for economy, luxury and excellence all in one design.

We will look forward to your speedy response. In the meantime, we do have several practically perfect water ionizers now, so you should be aware we are very picky.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Cathleen LoGrasso

This was a ficticious letter, but we’d welcome a reply from a real manufacturer who could live up to our perfect expectations. Most water ionizer manufacturers wouldn’t and couldn’t live up to these standards. What I was asking for costs a lot of money to do!

First of all, the platinum alone is going for $1350.00 per ounce right now! I’m asking to have the plates at least double-coated with pure platinum!  Manufacturers who cut corners on this [by using platinum alloys] are sprouting up all over. It’s not safe to substitute platinum for a platinum alloy. The platinum alloy may be safe for many years, but will eventually break down and the alloying metals will potentially leach into your water as well as exposing the titanium to your water-flow. The main point I’m making here is…

You just can’t cut corners on the platinum!

Actually, I can afford to be picky in my water ionizer standards, because…

I already offer nearly all of the things on my Wish-List for a Perfect Water Ionizer !

… with the Jupiter Melody and Jupiter Athena water ionizers! Most of my other water ionizers also are close to this good as well. If you read my letter [above] you will see everything that comes standard with the Jupiter Melody and Jupiter Athena water ionizers.

If you’re considering the purchase of a water ionizer you are making a wise choice!

Sincerely,
Cathleen LoGrasso

Reverse Osmosis with Remineralizer from IonLifeJupiter Athena Water Ionizer

I just love my new Athena Water Ionizer and my new IonLife Reverse-Osmosis-with-Remineralizer Set up!

For years I was really against reverse osmosis, because it took all the minerals out of the water and left it as “dead water”, as the Japanese refer to it. I’ve been drinking ionized water for about 17 years and have loved every minute of it. Buying water ionizer in my opinion is the healthiest thing a person can do!

I changed my mind about RO when IonLife came out with their new Reverse-Osmosis-with-Remineralizer!

The thing that sold me was the remineralizer! The Remineralizer cartridge puts back organic coral calcium plus 70+ organic trace minerals. Actually I would pay for this advantage alone. Organic plant source minerals are much healthier for your body and don’t cause the problems that inorganic [rock-based] minerals do. Another thing that sold me was the price! I’ve usually heard of RO costing up around $2000.00 or so, but this whole RO system with the 6 gallon storage tank & remineralizer, especially designed to give enough pressure and the right minerals for water ionization with organic plant-source minerals custom-designed to be perfect for a water ionizer….only costs $379.00!

I was a little leary of hooking up an RO. It seemed so complicated. But now in hindsight, it was pretty easy to do! Here’s a quick look at what the RO system entails:

After drinking ionized water from this new RO system with remineralizer for the past few weeks, I can say I really love it! It feels good to my body! I love the fact that the sodium and fluoride are removed so well! I’m very happy with my decision to do this! I’ve done some comparison testing between the RO as a source water and the St. Louis tap water and the RO source water seems to be ionizing the water as well as the tap water. Unfortunately, my ORP meter is on the blink and I’m waiting for my new one to come in. I’ll be doing some comparison videos soon.

Here’s another thing I’m really happy I decided to do…

Buy my new Athena Water Ionizer!

This was a fantastic decision! The Melody water ionizer is truly everything I’ve ever said it was: well-made, tests great for pH and ORP, great filtration, and it is the best water ionizer you can get for the price! However, the Athena is just a bit better. The bit better is mostly in the area of ORP. The Athena water ionizer gets a better ORP per unit of pH than all of the other water ionizers for drinking the healthiest water possible at whatever level of pH you’re able to drink it at.

Most people will work their way up to level 3 of the alkaline water [equivalent to 9.5 pH]. At this level the Melody [using my source water in St. Louis] gives an ORP of about -450 or so, while the Athena will give about -550 with the same source water. You only really need an ORP of -250 to -300 to provide your body with plenty of antioxidants, so the extra ORP is nice to have, but not necessary. So which one should you buy: an Athena or a Melody? I usually think if the person is young [under 40] you can get away with a a lot more than when you’re 55 or so. So my advice is simple. If you can’t afford the Athena, then get the Melody! But if you’re over 55, then try to find a way to afford the Athena. This is advice given very lightly, and with no intention to sway you in any direction. I’m telling you this, because I get asked by so many people. Actually, I love all the water ionizers, and they all give great pH and ORP [well beyond what they need to] and they’re all great priced! So the real advice is to get a water ionizer [if you don't already have one] TODAY!Wishing You Water Wellness!

It is rare that you will ever see the Enagic water ionizer in a comparison water ionizer test. Most Enagic dealers are reluctant to even want to see comparison testing. So I feel priveledged to bring these videos to you.

We tested and compared the Enagic SD 501, the Melody, the Athena, the Tyent Turbo, & the KYK Genesis 7-Plate water ionizers!

Throughout this testing there was an overall trend toward the…

Enagic not having the best quality of drinking water, but having a better ability to get the highest/lowest pH for non-drinking water [used for cleaning].

*See below for a good explanation of how the best quality of drinking water  for water ionizers is determined.

I couldn’t test them all at once, so I split the testing up into two groups of three water ionizers. Each group was focused on testing two water ionizers against the Enagic [since I don't often get a chance to test the Enagic, I wanted to make sure all four of my water ionizers had a chance to be tested with the Enagic].

Group 1: The Enagic water ionizer, the Tyent Turbo water ionizer and the KYK water ionizer.
Group 2: The Enagic water ionizer, the Athena water ionizer, and the Melody water ionizer.

I’ve highlighted in red the winning water ionizer score from each group of tests. Please note: You can’t very well compare a water ionizer from group 1 to group 2, unfortunately, because of too many variables, but if you look at the Enagic as the focal point you can get an idea of how they compare.

You can see that flow rate makes a big difference in the outcome of the testing, and because of that we really can’t compare the ionizers using one flow rate with the ones using another. This is a good example of how tricky this testing is!

Note: These water ionizer comparison tests were conducted in St. Peters, MO, which has a tap water which is 8.46 pH and +195 ORP
*The rH of a solution is based on a formula applied to the pH and ORP to arrive at the relation between the level of ORP to the level of pH. It is the best measure of the healthiness of that ionized water. I always consider the rH to be the most important measure to look at in any water ionizer comparison test.

  • Here’s an example: if you have two water ionizers producing water at a pH of 9.5, and one has an ORP of -300 and the other has an ORP of -400, then the one with -400 is producing water at a healthier overall quality. Most people testing water ionizers don’t get the exact same pH readings for all the water ionizers tested. So the rH formula is necessary to really see which water ionizer is producing the healthier water. The formula is a very simple one, and anyone comparing water ionizers should look at the rH of the water at the drinking water levels if they are trying to figure out which water ionizer is best. Because ORP is a very tricky measure to get and ORP meters can vary from test to test [depending on how well or frequently they're cleaned, source water and other factors] it’s important to only compare the ORP or rH of water ionizers tested in one setting by the same tester. RH is measured on a scale of 0 to 42, with 0 being the healthiest and 42 the unhealthiest. Tap water in St. Louis is usually around 30 – 35 rH. Any water under 28 rH is considered “reducing” and so is healthy for you.
  • “The relative hydrogen scale was first proposed by Clark in 1923 to the scientific community (mostly inorganic chemists) as a means of measuring the true reducing power of hydrogen present in an aqueous solution…”* Go to this website to see this article and get a more thorough and scientific explanation of rH: http://h-minus-ion.vpinf.com/rH-score-1.html

In the following videos and chart I am comparing the Athena and Melody water ionizers. These water ionizers are both Jupiter water ionizers.

Jupiter is a well-known brand name for medical-grade water ionizers that you can trust for their quality and dependability.

The Jupiter Athena water ionizer is the high-end Jupiter model which has DARC cleaning [best internal self-cleaning of all of the water ionizers], mesh plates and dual filtration, and sells for $2095.00 verses the Melody water ionizer [the moderately priced Jupiter water ionizer, which cleans itself great, is electro-plated [solid plates which are platinum-coated with peaks and groves for greater surface area for better electrolysis], and sells for $1395.00]. The Melody often comes very close in water ionizer  comparison tests, so I think it’s a great choice for anyone on a budget. The Lifetime Warranty makes either of these water ionizers an even sweeter deal!

Here’s my analysis: It looks like the Athena beats the Melody in every level for rH [water drinking healthiness per level of pH], but the Melody is testing very good.  They are both producing very healthy water! I don’t think you could go wrong with purchacing either of these water ionizers.

The healthiness of the water is measured a few ways. I’ll explain:

The aging body tends to become more and more acidic as life goes on [especially if we eat junk food or have an acidic diet over a period of years]. For this reason, we need water which is alkaline, so we can replenish our buffers to ward against the tendancy toward acidity. Otherwise our cells have no way of getting rid of their toxins. So pH is a factor in the healthiness of water.

  • Water ionizers produce a high alkaline pH. Even the water ionizer I purchased 17 years ago produced a nice high pH. Of course you don’t need the extremely high pH [that some water ionizers produce] for drinking purposes. Drinking water at a moderately high pH can help alkalize your body and get rid of the acidic wastes that have built up in your cells.
  • Oxidation is also a factor in the health of one’s body. Like a cut apple that turns brown, our cells tend to become over oxidized. I don’t know if the cells turn brown or not, but damage of one kind or another [commonly referred to as free-radical damage] happens when the cells are oxidized. To combat the body’s tendancy toward free-radical damage, theoretically, one would consume antioxidants. A way to test the antioxidant quality of a liquid is to measure its ORP [Oxidation Reduction Potential]. The more negative the ORP, the better. Any ORP with a greater negativity than -300 is considered “medical grade” ORP.
    • My personal experience with drinking water that has a high negative ORP [between -300 and -600] is that things like wrinkles and spider veins reduce when you drink water that has a higher negative ORP. I’m sure that the ORP is good for other things as well; basically anything that you would take antioxidants for would benefit from the consumption of water with a high negative ORP.
  • The rH [relative Hydrogen] of a solution is based on a formula applied to the pH and ORP to arrive at the relation between the level of ORP to the level of pH.

I’m finally able to…

Test and Compare the Athena Water Ionizer with Other Water Ionizers!

The Athena water ionizer has a tradition of winning in water ionizer comparison tests. However I have never tested it myself until today. Also to my knowledge the Athena water ionizer has never been tested against the Tyent Turbo water ionizer. So today I think I’m the first person showing publicly the testing of the Jupiter Athena water ionizer vs the Tyent Turbo! I thought it was important to test the Tyent water ionizer against the Athena first, because the Tyent Turbo has been up till now — the winner, in the ability to get the highest rH.

Previously the Tyent Turbo [in my own testing] has been also beating the KYK and the Melody in its ability to get the lowest acidity and the highest alkalinity ["the Extremes" ...as I call it]…although the KYK and Melody come close. I personally don’t care about the extremes, but some people do. They want the ability to get the lowest acid possible or the highest alkaline possible.

What I care about and think is the most important thing to look for in a water ionizer is the Level 3 “drinking water” rH. The rH is a measure of the “relative Hydrogen” of the ionized water and is showing you how high of an ORP is that ionizer able to give you relative to the pH level of the water tested. [see below for a more scientific explanation] The rH is better for you when the number is lower, or the closer to zero – the better [on a scale of 0 to 42].

This three-part series of videos starts at level 3 in the first video and then Level 4 for the Athena and the “Turbo Level” for the Tyent is demonstrated in videos 2 and 3. Here are the videos:

The following chart shows the pH, ORP, rH and acid output for the Athena water ionizer at Level 3/4 and the Tyent water ionizer at Level 3 and Turbo levels.

Another thing to consider in comparing water ionizers is the internal self-cleaning systems. The Athena’s self-cleaning is about three or four times better than the Tyent. It is all automatic and back-end [meaning that you never have to wait while your Athena water ionizer is doing a self-cleaning cycle. This is described in further detail in other blog posts, but the bottom line is that the self-cleaning system is a very important feature to look at in a water ionizer. Even the tiniest little film of calcium on the plates will cause a drop in the water ionizer's ability to put out a good pH and ORP. Therefore if you can keep the plates squeaky-clean you will get the best, healthiest water consistently for the life of your water ionizer!
Here is my analysis of todays water ionizer comparisons [as seen in the above videos and chart]:
The Athena beats the Tyent Turbo in…
  • rH [relative Hydrogen]…which is the overall healthiness of the alkaline ionized water, basically. However, the Athena and Tyent are very close and so the Athena didn’t beat by much.
  • the warranty — the Athena has a Lifetime warranty standard with every water ionizer purchase [you don't have to pay extra] vs the Tyent with a 20-year [plates] and 10-year extended warranty that you can purchase.
  • the price — the Athena costs $2095.00 and the Tyent Turbo [with 10-year extended warranty] costs $2495 + 195 = $2690.00.  [Keep in mind, though that you get some free gifts with the Tyent purchase worth about $300.00]…but even with the free gifts, the Athena still wins.

The Tyent Turbo beats the Athena in the following…

  • ability to produce the lower acid output at both levels 3 and Turbo-level. This is significant if what you want is a water ionizer that can do this. The acid water at the lowest setting for the Tyent is still not low enough [in this test] to kill germs — I don’t think. [I do plan to test this sometime]. What I have heard is that the acidity needs to be around 2.5 pH to kill germs [or at least under 3]…but I won’t know this for sure until I test it.
  • the ability to produce a higher alkalinity. This is only slightly higher though…almost equal. Both water ionizers appeared to be producing a high enough alkalinity to emulsify oils [which will be the subject of another test.

I will be testing the Athena against the Tyent, KYK, Melody and Enagic quite a bit in the next week or two...so stay tuned!

*pH means potential Hydrogen and is measured by a logarithmic [each unit is a multiple of 10 of the preceding unit] scale from 1 to 14. When a substance is below 7 on the scale it is said to be acidic. When it’s above 7 it’s said to be alkaline. The blood is around 7.35 and must stay in a very narrow range of slight alkalinity in order to sustain life.

*ORP means Oxygen Reduction Potential. It basically stands for the proportionate amount of negatively charged [H-] Hydrogen ions existing in a substance. The easiest way to look at is …it’s the anti-oxidant effect that that substance is cabable of giving your body when you drink it.

*rH is “relative Hydrogen”. This test calculation shows the actual health benefits of the water tested. Many now believe that this is the most important factor contributing to good health.  Note: To find rH one uses pH and ORP measurements plugged into a formula. The formula is:  rH = ((ORP + 200) / 30) + (2 * pH). On a scale from 0 to 42 above 28 oxidizing (higher potential to damage the closer it gets to 40) and below 28 is reducing (anti-oxidizing)…the lower the better.

Will the Melody and Tyent 7070 Water Ionizers Overheat after 10 Continuous Minutes of Producing Ionized Water?

I heard yesterday that some Enagic dealers were claiming that the Enagic LeveLuk SD 501 water ionizer was the only water ionizer that could pour ionized water continuously for over 10 minutes, non-stop. So this morning I tested this theory on the Melody and Tyent 7070 water ionizers [which I happened to have both right now hooked up to my sink [for other testing].

I had the two water ionizers flowing water for about 2 minutes prior to starting the video [while I was regulating their flow rates. Then I poured some samples of ionized water from each water ionizer to test...all before starting the video. So just add two minutes to the time of how long these water ionizers were continuously pouring water. Where I had to split the videos [in order to comply with You Tube's maximum video length guidelines] I overlapped the videos, so you can re-watch part of the video before the split on the part 2 video [so you see it was continuous.] The point is I’m trying to show some proof…so you don’t have to rely on trust entirely.

Here are the videos:

The results are:

  • The Melody and Tyent 7070 water ionizers were neck & neck in the pH/ORP/rH testing of the ionized water produced throughout the 12+ minutes of pouring;
  • The Tyent 7070 water ionizer slightly beat the Melody in rH for all testing done throughout. This means the Tyent’s pH was slightly less than the Melody while at the same time the Tyent’s ORP was slightly more negative than the Melody…producing a better rH. However the results were slightly different…and so I’d say they were almost the same [in the healthiness of the water].
  • The Melody continued to flow ionized water non-stop until I turned the water flow off. There was no slow-down, stop, drop in pH/ORP, overheating, or any indication of any problems at all.
  • The Tyent stopped itself and had a flashing light on the screen, however in the Tyent manual they did not state that this was for anything but to prevent accidental leaving your water ionizer on [let's say you leave it pouring and forget all about it] the water ionizer will turn itself off after about 10 min. of use. I could see no signs of overheating…it just stopped itself. When a min. later I turned it back on…it continued to give predictable ionized water at the levels it was producing earlier.

The bottom line is: this is another Enagic “story” [or I should say "lie"] that has been debunked. I don’t encourage you to all go pouring ionized water on and on, non-stop, for minutes and minutes. Why would you? But, the experiment showed it was possible to do none-the-less Hope this helps!

This week I have the pleasure and opportunity to compare the KYK Genesis 7-Plate Water Ionizer and the Jupiter Melody Water Ionizer! I’ll be videoing & blogging about it as I go.

This is the first of a series of videos about the KYK Genesis water ionizer. Here’s the first set of 2 videos, entitled: The KYK Genesis 7-Plate and the Jupiter Melody Water Ionizers Compared at Levels 1, 2, and 3. It is a 2-part video.

Table Shows Results of Water Ionizer Comparisons at Level 1, 2, & 3 for the Genesis Water ionizer and the Melody Water Ionizer.

rH = Relative Hydrogen [the healthiness of the water relative to the pH setting]. The smaller the number — the better. On a scale of 0 – 42, 0 is the healthiest and 42 is the unhealthiest. Tap water is usually around 30 – 35.

Here’s another video comparing the KYK Genesis with the Melody water ionizers at Level 3.

Here’s a Charts to go with the above video…

According to the above videos and chart, these two water ionizers are too close to call in the ability to ionize the water at these three levels. I have to say I’m surprised at how well the Melody holds up in these tests with 7-plate water ionizers. This Melody is over 10 months old too…so you can see it’s staying really clean too.

I will do more testing in further posts, plus I will soon be comparing the KYK Genesis with the Tyent Turbo…so stay tuned!

Coming Soon! The New Jupiter Water Ionizer Lifetime Warrantee! Starts August 15, 2009!!!

I just found out that as of August 15th the Jupiter water ionizers will come standard with a LIFETIME WARRANTY! This is the best news I think I’ve had all year! Wow!!! This is big NEWS!!!

Let me explain why I think the Jupiter water ionizer company is able to do this:

  • The Jupiter Water Ionizer manufacturing and design company has been around for ages. It is the oldest existing company for making water ionizers. They have mastered the technology of making water ionizers, and do it very well. Their water ionizers are top-line work-horse water ionizers. The internal cleaning systems are triple good, because they reverse the polarity of the water cell with each use [in the Melody water ionizer] and every 15 seconds of use [in the Aquarius, Orion and Athena water ionizers], while at the same time you are never inconvenienced by having to wait while your water ionizer is doing an acid wash cycle.
  • Most water ionizers are designed to last for over 20 years. I’ve had my original Ange water ionizer for 17 years and it still ionizes water like a charm! It’s never even needed repair. I’m guessing that the Jupiter company has enough experience with very few returns, repairs, etc. over the many years that they have it calculated to not be too much of a risk to them to offer this.
  • The main reason why a water ionizer might break down is due to hard water damage. Jupiter is making it clear with this new lifetime warrantee that you, the consumer, are expected to take measures to prevent hard water damage. I recommend a simple magnetic natural hard water solution gadget which is called the Ionizer Armor. It will last indefinitely and is only $82,00. Even if you already have hard water scaling inside your water ionizer this Ionizer Armor will de-scale it!!! By the way magnets are a great and natural solution to hard water problems, and I recommend them for whole house water softening as well! Magnets are a much cheaper and HEALTHIER solution to your hard water problems! Beyond this, if you were to see signs of hard water scaling on your spout for instance…you would be expected to get a scale-block prefilter to prevent this. Those are very reasonable expectations, and only benefit you, the water ionizer consumer, because scaling reduces your pH and ORP over time…and good maintenance ensures you have the best ionized water always.
  • Another big reason a water ionizer might break down is because of being dropped or otherwise abused by the customer. The warrantee does not cover this kind of damage.
  • Of course another reason they are doing this, I’m sure, is to dominate the water ionizer sales market…and sell more water ionizers! The length of warrantee is certainly an issue for anyone wanting to make a big purchase like a water ionizer.

This lifetime warranty covers parts and labor for a full 5 years. Then after 5 years it covers parts forever and limited labor forever. Specifically, if the labor were to exceed $195.00, they would cover the excess for any given repair job. If at the time of the repair there were no available parts, due to the model no longer being made, they reserve the right to replace your water ionizer with a comparible one. Rest assured on this, the Jupiter company wants to keep all of their customers happy. IonLife right now has an A+ BBB rating, so I don’t anticipate any tricks related to warranty issues from them.

So that’s the big news of today, and I just couldn’t be more excited! The new warranty does not apply to water ionizers purchased before August 15th. If you purchased your water ionizer prior to this date, don’t be too sad. Your Jupiter water ionizer will probably never need repair anyway…especially if you properly care for it [see above].

If you want to pre-order a Jupiter Melody water ionizer or any other Jupiter water ionizer [order to be placed on the 15th] let me know. I have a special surprise for anyone pre-ordering their Jupiter water ionzer between now and August 13th! You’ll find out what it is when you call [1-888-420-1420].

I am Always Amazed at the Reaction My Spider Veins have had to My Melody Water Ionizer!

I’ve been drinking alkaline ionized water now for about 17 years, and I don’t think a day goes by without me feeling thankful for the freedom and health that I have because of Ionized Water! Actually I have better water ionizer testimonials than the one I’m about to share, but I don’t often share this one…and it’s a good one, so here we go.

All the years I drank alkaline ionized water, with my Ange water ionizer, I had gotten rid of allergies, colds, infections, etc. [for myself and family]. So, naturally I was thankful…very thankful…for my Ange water ionizer! But I did have a small patch of dark [shadow-like] vein-y area on my right leg, which had appeared in the past 2 years. The doctor said that was not related to health, and “all it was was SPIDER VEINS”.

At first I thought , “Spider Veins!…oh no!”

But the doctor assured me it was nothing. He said it’s very common, and no need to do anything different. It was not any big deal. So, then I didn’t think about it any more. But after purchasing my new MELODY WATER IONIZER, a month or so later…

I noticed my spider veins disappearing!

I suspected it might have something to do with my new water ionizer. So I examined some of the differences between the two water ionizers and found one very big difference! The Melody water ionizer produced ionized water that had a much greater negative-ORP than the old Ange water ionizer.

ORP stands for oxidation reduction potential, and basically means that a negative ORP is an antioxidant. Some understanding started to dawn! I was basically cleaning out the acids from my cells really well all those years of drinking alkaline ionized water from my Ange water ionizer, and so …

NO MORE COLDS, ALLERGIES, EAR INFECTIONS, SINUS INFECTIONS, POST-NASAL-DRIP, etc.

…but I’m theorizing that the spider veins didn’t have anything to do with that…instead my theory is that spider veins has to do with OXIDATION in the veins close to the skin surface! That made sense, because they’re close to the air…which of course is oxygen rich.

Without really realizing it, I inadvertantly tested this theory a month or so ago, when I came across a book called the One Minute Cure. I thought the concepts of the book looked interesting and tried them. I won’t go into great detail, but the bottom line [I found out and proved later...see yesterday's blog] is that the One-Minute-Cure actually infuses MORE OXYGEN INTO YOUR CELLS. This in turn prompts more oxidation [or free radical damage] to your cells. Whether or not the One Minute Cure cures cancer or not, I’m sure I don’t know, but I do have personal experience and a strong suspicion at this point that it does oxidize the cells…and so causes free radical damage.

When I tried the formula for the One Minute Cure, I could tell it did oxidize my SPIDER VEINS! What happened was astonishing! Not only did the small patch of spider veins I had before drinking ionized water from my Melody Water Ionizer return…but in full force!  I’d say about 5 times worse than before I switched water ionizers!

So I stopped the One-Minute-Cure, and just drank the ionized water from my Melody water ionizer, and the spider veins faded away again!

Naturally, I’m not saying that I found the one and only cure for Spider Veins, but I am saying I may have. Someone should do more tests on this for sure.
