So, what’s the relationship between a water ionizer and Nefful clothing? Both provide your body with negative ions, which are healthy for your body.

Here’s how I’m using the Nefful clothing myself. I broke by wrist a year ago, and it is still kind of stiff and a little numb in the area. I bought some Nefful wrist-band/gloves and in wearing these I’m hoping to provide more negative ions to the area of my wrist and thus help it to loosen up and feel better. So far I can say my wrist feels better when I’m wearing these. I’ve only been wearing these Nefful gloves for a few days, so it’s probably too soon to evaluate. The numbness and stiffness are still there, but seem reduced.

I also do a lot of work on the computer and my fingers and hands do not like the effect of the positive ions bombarding them. For the past three days I’ve been wearing the Nefful gloves [mainly to see if it would help my wrist]. I have noticed my wrist feels better, but also as a side benefit I noticed that my hands don’t feel bombarded when I’m on the computer as long as I’m wearing the Nefful gloves. I think I’m not going to want to part with these Nefful gloves [so I better get another pair], because I’ll need to wash these and I just hate to part with them for even a few hours. Would I suggest one over the other [water ionizer vs Nefful]? Yes, if you are short on cash, start with the water ionizer. A water ionizer is going to do more than just provide your body with negative ions. Your body is made mostly of water, and so it is important that your water source is a healthy one. The right filtration, pH and ORP are all equally important to your health. A water ionizer will last 20 years or so, and when you break it all down it is an inexpensive way to provide yourself and family with what I’ve found to be the most awesome preventative health benefits around.

From what I can see, it looks like the Nefful clothing is a nice addition to a health-conscious line-up of preventative health measures. It is expensive though. If money is no issue, I’d of course suggest both. Try the Nefful. I’m trying it. It feels good to wear.

I did just a little bit more testing of the Athena vs Tyent water ionizers. This time, I tested the Level 4 for the Athena and Turbo mode for the Tyent water ionizer. I used two source waters [St. Louis tap and Reverse-Osmosis-Remineralized water].

What I learned from this testing is:

The Tyent and Athena water ionizers are very similar in their highest/lowest ph levels.

The Tyent in the Turbo mode got a tiny bit higher pH than the Athena water ionizer in one of the tests and was equal in the other.

For acid water: the Tyent Turbo mode got lower than the Athena’s 3.1 pH with a 2.8 pH.

The source water didn’t make much difference at all for the ability of these water ionizers to ionize the water. The results of the ionized RO-remineralized water was about the same as the tap water.

I have tested the Tyent Turbo water ionizer vs the Athena water ionizer before, but this time is a little different. I’m using two different source waters: St. Louis tap water and reverse-osmosis-remineralized water.

The tests show that the Tyent Turbo and the Athena water ionizers are neck-in-neck in pH and ORP results!

Also, interestingly enough, the ability to ionize St. Louis tap water is about equal to the IonLife-Reverse-Osmosis-Remineralizer that I have!

That’s great, because usually RO water doesn’t ionize well [due to the lack of minerals in it]. RO gets everything out of the water, and leaves very little in. It’s often called “dead water”. However, with this RO-Remineralizer System, the minerals added are the perfect amount for water ionization! These are also great minerals, by the way. They are all organic, plant-source minerals, so are the healthiest your body can consume. No rock-based minerals are added!

So, with the results being so close between the Tyent and the Athena, which water ionizer do you buy?

Either one! You can’t go wrong with these two great water ionizers! They both have great warrantees! They both ionize water real well! There are differences, but they’re both good.

Today I tested and used the Rainshow’r Bathball!

This is a water [bath] dechlorinator that works by changing the chlorine in your tap water to harmless chloride. Similar to sodium chloride, table salt, any chloride will be more neutral and harmless than chlorine. The manufacturer also claims that the quartz crystals in the Bath Ball splits the water into smaller clusters, and thus makes your use of soap or shampoo more efficient. It is claimed to be safe, healthy for your skin and body [eliminates chlorine gas which in hot baths you may breathe in], and works in minutes. Here’s the video:

When I tested the chlorine level of the bath ball water vs. regular tap water, this showed on the chart as the same. This is because with the Rainshow’r Bath Ball the chlorine isn’t actually removed. There is no filter here — it’s not a bath filter – just a chemical change from chlorine to chloride, so the tester won’t show a difference.

When I bathed in the Rainshow’r Bath Ball water I did like it. I like baths anyway, though, so I’m not sure as of yet if I can attest to a difference. I like it though, so I’ll continue to use the Bath Ball Bath Dechlorinator. It is supposed to last for 300 baths or a year! After that you can just get a replacement pouch rather than a whole new ball.

I was browsing around the internet today and came accross a very compelling water ionizer testamonial that reminded me of my own water ionizer testamonial in many ways.

Tina started out as a young child with many ailments. She had severe menstrual problems, chronic headaches, but the most profound thing she had wrong with her was her awful, chronic joint problems…that were destroying all her dreams! She had swelling and deterioration in her knees, fingers, wrists, neck, back and almost every joint!

Since Tina was 16 years old [in 1970] she had seen every kind of specialist possible for her problems. She saw Rheumatologists, Orthopedists, Endocrinologists, Oncologists, and even had tests for bone cancer! Finally, in 1972 she had knee surgery, which after a year of physical therapy she found out did her no good.

The perplexing thing about all the troubles she was having was the fact that Tina was a health-food conscious person and really did eat well [she thought].

Tina’s joint problems followed her right up to 2005 [when her whole life changed]! Up until that time, all she had to help her was anti-inflamatory drugs, thyroid pills [for her hypo-thyroid she developed in 1984], and some of her health-food recipes that helped a little. The things that helped her only helped a little. She was looking at a very bleak future, because her joint condition was getting worse despite everything she did. So what happened in 2005 to change Tina’s life?

Tina discovered a water ionizer!

She learned all about water ionization and how it affects the body’s pH …and deduced she had an acidic body! Following this discovery, Tina started drinking ionized water and never has looked back! Her joint aches and pains have gone away! But in addition to that, other symptoms [that she didn't even know she had] have gone away. She didn’t realize her brain fog was a symptom of anything related to health [now she is blessed with mental clarity]. She had no thoughts of her inability to hold herself when she had to go to the bathroom as being anything connected to health. Now she sees what a healthy bladder feels like. She now gets a great night’s sleep [whereas before she didn't, but when she had the problem she didn't see it as health-related]. Now Tina [in 2009] says she’s addicted to feeling great! She encourages everyone to [in addition to eating healthy foods and taking suppliments] drink ionized water! She also advises people to stay away from soda, white flour, sugar and animal products. One of the things she discovered was a culprit from the time she was a baby, was milk! Tina has always been a milk lover and heavy milk drinker. She is staying away from milk now and substituting ionized water instead.

Why did Tina have so much joint trouble?

In Tina’s research about water ionizers and body pH, she discovered that most people have more fat than she does. Her body has always been very lean [she's 5 ft. tall and weighs 95 lbs]. While most people might envy Tina’s figure, the truth is that fat plays an important role in protecting joints from acid wastes given off by your cells. If your diet doesn’t contain enough alkaline buffers, it will dump acids into fat cells as a way of maintaining the essential 7.365 narrow pH range that your blood needs for your body to stay alive. If you don’t have enough fat cells, your body will tend to dump the acid wastes into your joints — to keep you from dying. The more alkaline buffers you can provide for your body, the fewer fat cells you need. Therefore when Tina finally started drinking ionized water, she was able to provide her body with the alkaline buffers it needed. So, even though she was thin, she was now able to get rid of her cells acid wastes — into her blood and then out through her elimination processes!

Tina’s story is fantastic! She reminds me of myself in many ways. From the time I was young, I was interested in healthy foods and natural healing. I never considered myself to be unhealthy until after I started drinking ionized water in 1993. I was drinking ionized water for about a half-year when I realized how great I felt, and that I no longer had some unhealthy conditions [that I didn't realize were unhealthy until they were gone]. I had allergies to hay [hay-fever], pollen, mold, dust, grass, cats, dogs, and certain cleaning solutions. I had frequently recurring sore throats [which occasionally lead to strep], and the doctor just brushed these off as “post nasal drip” and was no big deal. These are all [I realize now] symptoms of an acid body…and I don’t usually get these symptoms ever anymore. I just love my new Athena Water Ionizer and my new IonLife Reverse-Osmosis-with-Remineralizer Set up!

For years I was really against reverse osmosis, because it took all the minerals out of the water and left it as “dead water”, as the Japanese refer to it. I’ve been drinking ionized water for about 17 years and have loved every minute of it. Buying water ionizer in my opinion is the healthiest thing a person can do!

I changed my mind about RO when IonLife came out with their new Reverse-Osmosis-with-Remineralizer!

The thing that sold me was the remineralizer! The Remineralizer cartridge puts back organic coral calcium plus 70+ organic trace minerals. Actually I would pay for this advantage alone. Organic plant source minerals are much healthier for your body and don’t cause the problems that inorganic [rock-based] minerals do. Another thing that sold me was the price! I’ve usually heard of RO costing up around $2000.00 or so, but this whole RO system with the 6 gallon storage tank & remineralizer, especially designed to give enough pressure and the right minerals for water ionization with organic plant-source minerals custom-designed to be perfect for a water ionizer….only costs $379.00! 

I was a little leary of hooking up an RO. It seemed so complicated. But now in hindsight, it was pretty easy to do! Here’s a quick look at what the RO system entails:

After drinking ionized water from this new RO system with remineralizer for the past few weeks, I can say I really love it! It feels good to my body! I love the fact that the sodium and fluoride are removed so well! I’m very happy with my decision to do this! I’ve done some comparison testing between the RO as a source water and the St. Louis tap water and the RO source water seems to be ionizing the water as well as the tap water. Unfortunately, my ORP meter is on the blink and I’m waiting for my new one to come in. I’ll be doing some comparison videos soon.

Buy my new Athena Water Ionizer!

This was a fantastic decision! The Melody water ionizer is truly everything I’ve ever said it was: well-made, tests great for pH and ORP, great filtration, and it is the best water ionizer you can get for the price! However, the Athena is just a bit better. The bit better is mostly in the area of ORP. The Athena water ionizer gets a better ORP per unit of pH than all of the other water ionizers for drinking the healthiest water possible at whatever level of pH you’re able to drink it at.

Most people will work their way up to level 3 of the alkaline water [equivalent to 9.5 pH]. At this level the Melody [using my source water in St. Louis] gives an ORP of about -450 or so, while the Athena will give about -550 with the same source water. You only really need an ORP of -250 to -300 to provide your body with plenty of antioxidants, so the extra ORP is nice to have, but not necessary. So which one should you buy: an Athena or a Melody? I usually think if the person is young [under 40] you can get away with a a lot more than when you’re 55 or so. So my advice is simple. If you can’t afford the Athena, then get the Melody! But if you’re over 55, then try to find a way to afford the Athena. This is advice given very lightly, and with no intention to sway you in any direction. I’m telling you this, because I get asked by so many people. Actually, I love all the water ionizers, and they all give great pH and ORP [well beyond what they need to] and they’re all great priced! So the real advice is to get a water ionizer [if you don't already have one] TODAY!Wishing You Water Wellness!
