Holy cow! This new Venus Water Ionizer (by the Jupiter Water Ionizer Company) is unbelievable! I just got off the phone with my warehouse technician. They’re all excited about this new water ionizer over in the warehouse, because their own personal water comparison tests are rating this new (less expensive water ionizer) as being actually better than the Melody! So far, the Melody has been my best-selling water ionizer, and I sell all of them. But if it’s really the case that the new Venus Water Ionizer tests out better, then I’ll just have to start listing it as my favorite water ionizer! Here’s some of the features:

  • There is a water ionizer “flow control knob”: This means you can control the water flow for the exact pH and ORP you desire.
  • Can install under your sink if desired!
  • Voltage Regulator: This is a really great feature! I wish I had this feature on my more expensive Melody! With a voltage regulator you can adjust your power for optimized water ionization even in areas where you have very hard water or soft water. [see full explanation below*].
  • Biostone filter: This is worth mentioning, since this is such an outstanding filter.
  • Automatically cleans for 10 seconds every 20 liters: This is a good feature, because you have to wait less time for cleaning than most other water ionizers.
  • 5 platinum coated titanium plates.
  • Self-diagnostic system
  • Fully automated using MICOM artificial intelligence
  • Automatic shut off in place to prevent overheating
  • A new inner structure of exclusively the Venus water ionizer cell which enables a much better acid from alkaline water separation. This enhanced segregation between alkaline and acid water results in more efficient ionization as well as better isolation of any remaining chlorine or fluoride.
  • Easy wall-mounting capabilities [comes with all supplies to do this.]…Saves counter space.
In the USA there are places like Southern California and Texas where there is a lot of extra calcium in the water and this water is called hard. Because a high level of minerals (or TDS) will produce a higher than average pH you may wish to reduce the voltage so that your acid and alkaline settings show a good range of choices. On the other hand in places like Seattle the water lacks minerals and is called soft. By increasing the voltage in these areas you can get a high alkaline pH as well as a good acid pH.

The New Life7600 Water Ionizer Looks Pretty Darn Good!

Mar 29 · by Cathleen LoGrasso

Life Ionizers has come up with a new Life7600 Water Ionizer! I say “well done” to the Life company for this new model! It seems to have some great new features and continues to have some great old features! It is an upgrade from the Life 7500 model, but without an increase in price (so far). But let’s keep fingers crossed! This model compares itself to the Enagic, but at half the cost. Let’s look at the new features and options:

  • Brand New Vitamin C Ceramic filter technology: The new Life 7600 Water Ionizer comes with this new filter, which allows the benefits of vitamin C while at the same time effectively eliminating chlorine and chloramine. However this new filter is now integrated into the Life 7500 water ionizer models. So you get these new filters no matter which model you order and as replacement filters if you already have a Life 7500 water ionizer. Both models have dual filter systems with nine stages of filtration and come with a free pre-filter (sediment Carbon Block, unless otherwise requested) which extends the life of your filter (and water ionizer). [The Enagic has an ordinary single Carbon filter, and no extra pre-filter -- nothing special over the cheap $1,000 models].
  • Convertable [Can install under sink or on countertop]: With a conversion kit, you can install this under the sink if you like! [The Life 7500 was only a countertop model, and the Enagic is only a countertop as well.]
  • Adjustable Amperage:
    • The Life 7600 has 5 amperage/wattage (33 watts-208 watts) settings to allow for perfect ionization (They claim to now be able to get the highest pH & ORP) despite varying water hardness, quality, flow-rate and plate size.
    • The Life 7500 has 4 amperage/wattage setting
    • The Enagic has no adjustable wattage.
  • Water Ionization Plates:
    • Life 7600:  Comes with 7 platinum coated titanium large plates (same as Enagic), but has an option to switch to mesh plates for an extra charge of $100.00. They recommend you use mesh plates in order to get a better ionization (more efficient & higher ratings). They say the mesh is better according to their tests.
    • Life 7500 had these options too.
    • Enagic only has the solid plate option.
  • Both Life water ionizer models offer an optional UV Light for an extra layer of disinfection protection ($150.00 extra charge). Enagic does not offer a UV Light option.
  • Built in pH indicator:
    • The Life 7600 water ionizer has a built in pH indicator. This is helpful (if it’s accurate)!
    • The Life 7500 doesn’t have this feature.
    • The Enagic claims to produce water at certain pH settings, but these are misleading. The water I tested was far off what the Enagic water ionizer “voice indicator” claimed.

Here’s my conclusions:

The Life company has been working hard to beat out the competition. I think the result is pretty darn good, as indicated above. It looks like they very well may have come up with the best water ionizer, but I will watch for independent labs’ comparisons or other unbiased testing to be done before I make any further, more definitive, conclusions.

The IonWays Athena water ionizer has two filters. They each have a different life-span, and although you need to change each when it gets to 9999 the counters don’t change at the same rate. The #1 filter (a carbon block sediment filter) needs changing about twice as much as the Biostone, which is in the #2 position. For filter #1 you can put another type of prefilter in that spot if you prefer. Sometimes your source water warrants that (such as to handle hard-water, lead or arsenic). This makes a convenient and aesthetic way to provide a prefilter for your ionized water.  Because all source water is different, it’s hard to predict the exact right time to change your filters. Here’s a general guide to ensure you don’t keep your filter in too long, which would make it less healthy.

  • If your water is not running through the water ionizer well (too slow). That is probably a clogged up sediment filter (filter #1).
  • If you taste chlorine, it’s time to change your #2 filter (the Biostone)
  • If a year has gone by, it’s probably time to change both, even if you don’t notice a problem (yet).
  • It’s not a great problem if you forget to keep track of the filter counter and suddenly notice one or more needs changing. If you didn’t notice a chlorine taste or slow-down in the water coming from the ionizer, don’t worry. Just order the filters and change them as soon as you can. On the other side, it won’t hurt to change the filters more frequently if you feel like it and money isn’t an issue. Establish a shedule that’s right for you…and then stick with it.

One thing you can do is stock up on filters, just so you have them handy when you need them. This is what I recommend. Here is a link for the filters:

Remember, you’re providing yourself with healthy water, so it makes sense to change the filters when they need it. You’re also saving the life of the water ionizer if you keep your filters changed regularly.
